Sugi—also known as Japanese cedar—is a popular ornamental plant in Japan and has a delicate, clean, and energizing scent. After the great success of their first collaborations with Comme des Garçons—Hinoki and Laurel—they have returned with them for this third fragrance, which was developed in Paris by Antoine Maisondieu and is available in a bottle designed by Monocle.
It is a refreshing, light yet sophisticated unisex fragrance that opens with top notes of Mediterranean cypress and Madagascar pepper, followed by Florentine iris and Virginia cedar, and finished with pine and Haitian vetiver.
